We’d also like to introduce Calvin! We’re very excited to have Calvin as part of our program staff this year after being in the dining hall his previous summers! 👋😆

Calvin is an Eagle Scout from Troop 16 and about to graduate from high school and his local career technology center! 🦅

Be sure to give him a wave when you see him helping out at one of our ranges this summer 🏹

👋 Meet The Staff Monday 👋

Today we introduce one of Acahela’s many unsung heroes! Our dining hall staff keeps everyone’s belly full, and that couldn’t be done without Ben’s help! 👨‍🍳🏕️

Ben is a Life Scout from Troop 106 in Mountain Top and currently serving as Assistant Senior Patrol Leader for them. It’ll be his 3rd year on staff and 2nd in the kitchen! 🍕

Outside of camp he is part of his school’s marching band playing the tuba.

We’re glad to have him back! 👏

👋 Meet The Staff Tuesday 👋

‼️ DOUBLE FEATURE ‼️

Our second introduction is Nathan! Who will be stepping up into a new role in camp this summer as your new scout skills director! 🌲

Nate is currently the Junior Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 16 and recently staffed in the National Youth Leadership Training held in the Minsi Trails Council. He is a natural born leader!⛺️

Nate likes building stuff in the outdoors and is learning to be in the welding industry. He also enjoys playing the piano 🎹

I'm ready to bring high energy and enthusiasm to camp! 🏕️

👋 Meet the Staff Tuesday 👋

Today up first we have Joey our fearless Nature Director!

I'm Joseph Banull, a life scout from Troop 16. I am also the Vice Chief of Administration of Lowwapaneu Lodge.

Outside of scouting I'm involved in Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science, Political Science Club, Scranton's leadership club, and the president of National Honor Society.

I'm excited to lead the Cub Scouts through the Acahela Ocean and teach them about the nature they call home!
