Today we had some of our young ladies attend the County Commisioner meeting to see what's going on in their community. They were welcomed by the board and did the Pledge of Allegiance for the opening of the meeting.

Well summer camp is a wrap for 2026. We have coined a few new phrases from summer camp.

Muggy Monday: When it's so hot even your hair sweats.

Testy Tuesday: When we test the Scoutmaster to see if we really have to eat all of our food.....yes, the answer is always yes.

Weeping Wednesday: The middle of the week when everyone is so tired we have crocodile tears being released from our eyes.

Thunderstorm Thursday: When the weather is going to be so bad the whole camp sleeps in the dining area!

Farewell Friday: hugs, tears, and forgotten water bottles.

Sleepy Saturday: Where the adults drive home and listen to snoring Scouts.

Day 3 and 4.

The girls are rocking this camp thing! They're going for Honor Patrol and are totally crushing it. 6am Walk the Plank Challenge? Nailed it! Open Flag ceremony? Done! Fishing? Reeled it in! Pottery and Sculpture, Kayaking, Digital Technology, and Lashings? You bet! And that's not all, folks!

Lacing up her sneakers, tying up her sash, Hitting the gymnastics mat, making a splash!From pitching up a tent to a perfect handstand, She’s the coolest twelve-year-old in all of the land.

Ooh, look at you shine,Twelve years old and you’re doing just fine! From the balance beam to the campfire bright,You’re earning your badges and soaring to new heights! Yeah, you’re turning twelve today, Let’s shout hip-hip-hooray!

Big congratulations 🎊 to our Charter Organization Ice Dreams Ice Cream and Coffee for their continued support over the past nine years. They were recognized as Charter Organization of the year for 2025 at our District Banquet last night.
