Today is Respect Life Sunday, a day set aside to intentionally recognize the sacredness and dignity of human life.

But respecting life is more than something we acknowledge on one Sunday.

It is choosing to see the image of God in the people around us.

It is standing for the life of an unborn child while also sitting beside the woman who is scared.

It is offering compassion when circumstances are complicated.

It is supporting families. Serving practically. Praying faithfully. Loving deeply.

This October, we're kicking off GMPC Medical's Baby Bottle Drive—and this year, we're carrying it with us throughout the holiday season.

Pick up a bottle in October, fill it with your gifts throughout the season, and return it by January 5, 2027.

As we move from Respect Life Month into Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year, we invite you to join us in celebrating the value of life and supporting the work happening every day at GMPC Medical.

This Sunday, October 4, churches and community members throughout Blairsville are invited to come together for one peaceful hour of prayer and public witness for life.

Life Chain Sunday is an opportunity to stand together, pray together, and publicly affirm the value of human life.

October is Respect Life Month. 🤍

This month gives us an opportunity to intentionally reflect on something that lies at the very heart of our ministry: the God-given dignity and value of every human life.

From the tiniest life in the womb to the woman sitting across from us wondering what comes next, every person is created intentionally by God and worthy of compassion, dignity, and love.

Throughout October, we'll be reflecting on that truth through our theme:

Chosen. Loved. Created.

Because before a name is chosen, before a nursery is prepared, and before anyone else knows a life exists—God knows.

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.” — Psalm 139:13

This month—and every month—we choose to celebrate life, support women and families, and recognize the immeasurable value God has placed on every person. 🤍

September may be coming to an end, but the stories God is writing through this ministry continue.

This month, we've talked about the women and families who walk through our doors, the people who faithfully serve behind the scenes, and the community that makes this work possible.

And after welcoming so many of you to Harvesting Hope, we're reminded once again that GMPC Medical was never meant to do this work alone.

God has surrounded this ministry with people willing to pray, give, serve, encourage, and stand for life.

Thank you for being part of our story.
