I want to share something with you this evening.
Mordecai Ham was a man back in the late 1800's, early 1900's preaching a tent revival in 1934 and there was two young 14 year old boys walking by when they heard him preaching about a loving Father. The 2 boys walked up to the tent and there was no room for them to sit because it was packed.
The 2 boys turned and started walking away and the usher chased the 2 boys down and told them to come back that he would find them a seat. He took the boys in and had some people scoot in and gave the 2 boys a seat. That night those 2 boys gave their life to Jesus Christ.
One of the boys was Billy Graham, who preached the gospel to more people than anyone in the world. The other boy was Grady Wilson, who wound up helping Billy Graham organize all his crusades.
The story I'm telling you is not about Billy Graham or even Grady Wilson, or Mordecai Ham.
The story I'm telling you about is the usher who didn't let the two 14 year old boys get away and miss the opportunity to hear the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.
Guys, we all have a job to do. My question is are you going to be the one to chase those ones that are walking away and invite them in or are you going to be the one that says, we have no more room, go to hell?
We all have a job to do whether it's preaching, teaching, or even just an usher or a simple person who truly loves the Lord.
Be like Jesus and go after the one, because you never know who they may become.

Guys, so many times in life we want to change our past.
If we changed our past we wouldn't be where we are right now.
Some people are saying that they wished they wouldn't be where they are right now or in the situation there in right now.
Guys, it's not where you have been or what situation your in right now, maybe it's where GOD is trying to take you.
We all go through things in this world and struggles are real and they hurt but GOD has a plan for your life if you will endure it with Him.
Guys, it's like I've always said about my life. I didn't start well but I'm going to finish well.
No matter where you've been or what you've done or the struggles you have in your life right now, GOD is waiting with outstretched hands waiting on you to take you to a new future, so you can leave your past hurts and failures behind you.

[18] Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
[19] Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:18-19)
Call on the Lord today and surrender it ALL and let Him take you to greater things.

Guys, I just want to share something with you this evening. This is just a little stuffed toy that come from McDonald's. Nothing special about it to me or you but to my dog it is the world. If I pick it up, my dog goes crazy because he wants it. If I throw it, he will run himself silly to get to it because it's important to him.
Now, here is where it gets interesting.
Guys, if we got as excited about going to church or reading our Bible as much as my dog does over a little stuffed toy from McDonald's how much fuller would our life be?
We should be excited about reading our Bible because it's not that we have to, but we get to.
We should be excited about going to church because it's not that we have to, but we get to.
Guys, just like my little dog don't have to play with stuffed toy but he gets to and he loves it.
Until we get excited about the blessings we have, we will always stay content with just enough when GOD wants us to have so much more.
Malachi 3:10
[10] Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
Guys, it's just a stuffed toy to me and you but to my dog it means everything, just like the Word of GOD and Jesus is everything to me.
Is Jesus just a stuffed toy to you or is He your everything?

Guys, I know there is bad weather coming in but I just want to let everyone know that the benefit is still going to take place at the Civic Center in Blairsville.
The rain may come down and the wind may blow but these families that are battling this awful cancer still need our help and support.
We will have tables set up on the inside if you want to come in and eat, or if you just want to stop by and make a donation to these families it would be greatly appreciated.
GOD knows the intent of our heart and He also knows the struggles these families are facing.
Please share this and come and support these people.

I just want to remind everyone of the benefit next Friday at the Civic Center in Union County.
Come out and support these two families.
All the churches within the surrounding areas please announce this at your church Sunday morning and show your support for Rusty Greenway who is the pastor at Bunker Hill Baptist Church and April McGaha who works at Union County schools.
Both of these people are battling cancer and need our support. Thank you and please share this with all you can.

Guys, I'm going to give you food for thought.
The devil obeys the Lord more than we do!!!
When the devil wanted to mess with Job and he said I can't because you have a hedge of protection around him. The Lord told him exactly what he could do and couldn't do and after that the devil never questioned His authority, he just walked away.
Guys, why do we question GOD so much?
Everything we need to do is in His Word, we just need to follow it.
Luke 10:19
[19] Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Guys, how many times in your life has things been going great and you didn't have a worry for nothing, and out of nowhere you get some news that hits you like a ton of bricks.
We've all been there at some point in our life and if you've not, I can guarantee you that it's coming.
I was reading in 2 Chronicles 20 and Jehoshaphat was just enjoying life when all of a sudden he had some people come tell him that he was fixing to be attacked, and they was going to ambush him from behind.
This army wouldn't 3 or 4 days away, they was less than a day away from him and he didn't have time to prepare for them.
Guys, how many times has something come against you that you wouldn't prepared for and didn't know what to do or who to turn to for help.
This is fixing to encourage someone and give you hope.
Jehoshaphat was scared and he never went looking for his army, or he never went and hid.
Jehoshaphat seeked the Lord and prayed and fasted, and all of Judah prayed with him and called on the Lord.
At the end of it all the Lord heard his prayer and went before him and defeated the armies and gave victory into Jehoshaphats hands and he never even had to fight because the battle was the Lord's.
Guys, when things hit you out of nowhere and your not prepared for it, and your scared and don't know where to turn, just fall to your knees and call on the one that goes before you and prepares the way and can conquer ALL your battles.
2 Chronicles 20:15
[15] and he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not your's, but God's.
Guys, remember that the battle is not yours, but GOD'S. He has been and always will be in control when you surrender and give it to him and pray with faith believing because GOD is gracious and merciful.

Guys, I was just sitting here reading my Bible and I have to share something with y'all.
So many times we feel so unworthy and we feel like we are a burden.
Sometimes you may even feel like your a burden to GOD because you've asked for so much and you feel like your a bother to Him.
Guys, I want to show you how much GOD loves you and adores to hear from you.
In Mark 5:1-13 is where Jesus had a run in with a demon possessed man. His name was legion, which means many.
Jesus tells the demons to come out of the man.
Here's the good part....
The demons ask Jesus to let them go into the swine and Jesus granted them permission to go.
(Did you catch that?)
Jesus could have sent them back to hell where they came from but instead He granted them permission to go where they asked.
Guys, if Jesus granted permission to demons to go where they asked, how much more does He love it when you ask of His help and when you need something of Him?
It says in the Bible that you have not because you ask not.
Hebrews 4:16
[16] Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Jesus loves us!!!! Never think that your a burden or that Jesus don't have time for you because your important enough that He gave up His own life so that you could live eternally with Him, if you choose to.

I was sitting here reading my Bible this evening and GOD showed me something.
This may be just for me, but I want to share this with you.
‭2 Peter 1:3-4
[3] according as his divine power hath given unto us ALL things that (pertain unto life and godliness), through the (knowledge of HIM that hath called us to glory and virtue): [4] whereby are GIVEN unto us (exceeding great and precious promises): that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Guys, GOD has given us everything we need in life but we want more.
The only thing that I want more of is His grace, and the longing of one day being able to bow at His feet and worship for ALL He has given me.
It reminds me of Psalm 23 where it says.... The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
If you wake up everyday with breath in our lungs we are blessed because it's His grace that provided it.
I SHALL NOT WANT!!!!!
Because of His divine power has given unto us ALL things.
