Important Update: NAMIWalks Georgia 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of NAMIWalks Georgia, scheduled for tomorrow, October 10, due to anticipated severe weather and the closure of Brookhaven city and county facilities.
We know how much this day means to so many of you. NAMIWalks is more than just an event. It's a day when individuals, families, friends, and communities come together to celebrate hope, honor loved ones, raise awareness, and remind those affected by mental health conditions that they are not alone.
While we are incredibly disappointed that we won't be able to gather tomorrow, the safety of our walkers, volunteers, sponsors, staff, and community partners must always come first.
To everyone who has donated, fundraised, volunteered, sponsored, or planned to walk alongside us, THANK YOU! Your commitment to mental health doesn't end with this cancellation, and neither does our work.
We are grateful for the incredible community that continues to stand with NAMI Georgia. We will share additional updates as we determine a new date.
The Walk may be canceled, but our mission continues. And together, we will keep moving forward toward a Georgia where no one faces mental health challenges alone. đź’š
