CELEBRATE RECOVERY
OF BLAIRSVILLE
Tonight’s lesson is about why taking a “Daily Inventory” of our thoughts, words, & actions is so important in our recovery journey. Here are a few key points….
~start with one thing we are grateful for!
~think about our interactions with random people AND our friends & loved ones….did we show love? Were we patient & kind or were we harsh and not so gentle?
~to love others, we need to love ourselves!
We cannot be loving, gentle, joyful, & patient on our own….we HAVE to remember that God WANTS to help us! 🙂
Hope to see you tonight at 7pm for more amazing benefits of keeping a daily inventory. ~Laura B

CELEBRATE RECOVERY
OF BLAIRSVILLE
Happy Thursday! It is in the present moment that Jesus IS with us, helping us carry our burdens 🙂. Let’s remember to keep our focus where our feet are! God doesn’t want us to get bogged down worrying about past mistakes or fears of the future. Psalm 118:24 “THIS is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice AND be glad in it.” God wants us to find joy & gratitude exactly where we are! Hope you can join us tonight at 7pm to be reminded that God can and will turn the messiness of our past into beautiful, powerful testimonies! 🙂

CELEBRATE RECOVERY
OF BLAIRSVILLE
Happy Thursday! Celebrate Recovery isn’t just for those seeking sobriety, it’s an amazing ministry that can help any and all of us find God’s purpose for our lives 🙂
I’ve always loved the saying, “Our life is God’s gift to us; what we do with it is our gift to Him!” This makes me want to be more intentional about letting HIS light shine through my attitude, words & most importantly, my actions. Hope you can join us tonight at 7pm for a testimony that reminds us that God can & WILL (if we let Him!) turn our ashes into diamonds 🙂 ~Laura B

CELEBRATE RECOVERY
OF BLAIRSVILLE
Tonight’s lesson is about the GRACE (can’t be bought OR earned!) God lovingly showers us with each & every moment of our lives. God loves us unconditionally (like a parent loves a child)….why? Because He IS our Father:-)
We need to be happy to brag about our weaknesses, for when we are weak, He IS strong! He WILL leave the 99 to go after each & every one of us! When we accept God’s grace, we should WANT to extend grace to others. Hope you can join us tonight at 7pm for this amazing lesson 🙂 ~Laura B

CELEBRATE RECOVERY
OF BLAIRSVILLE
When troubles & burdens seem too heavy, we need to remember that God created us to depend on Him! These verses remind us that, in & with Him, we CAN handle ANY & ALL of life’s challenges! Matthew 11:29-29 “Come to me, ALL of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I WILL give you rest. Take my yoke and put it on you, and learn from me, because I’m gentle and humble in spirit, and you will find rest.” Ahhhh 🙂 …..hope you can join us tonight at 7pm for a testimony of just how amazing our God is!

CELEBRATE RECOVERY
OF BLAIRSVILLE
Waiting on God’s timing in our recovery journey (and life in general!) can sometimes leave us feeling alone & forgotten. He SO badly wants us to trust that He IS constantly working on our behalf behind the scenes, turning our struggle into strength. Suffering DOES indeed produce character and hope. We can rest assured that He IS with us each and EVERY moment 🙂 Hope you can join us tonight at 7pm for a testimony of His unwavering faithfulness! ~Laura B

There is a kind of peace this world talks about.

Peace when the bills are covered. Peace when the doctor gives good news.
Peace when your relationships are doing well.
Peace when life finally starts going the way you hoped.

That kind of peace feels natural.

But the Bible speaks of another kind of peace.

A peace beyond understanding. As Philippians 4:7 says, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

A peace that comes even when life feels confusing.
When prayers seem quiet.
When the storm has not passed. When tomorrow feels unclear.

Have you ever seen someone keep trusting God through pain and wondered, “How are they still standing?”

That is this kind of peace.

Because it does not come from what is happening around us.

It comes from Christ.

It is the peace of knowing that when everything feels out of control,
God is still in control.

Nothing in your life has caught Him by surprise.
Nothing you are facing is greater than Him.
And as Romans 8:38-39 says, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

So while the world is full of fear...

The believer can breathe.

Can you feel that comfort?

Not because life is easy.
But because God is faithful.

Even in the storm, Jesus still whispers peace.
John 14:27 says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Sometimes the strongest testimony is staying calm when everything around you says panic.

That is the peace found in Him.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY
OF BLAIRSVILLE
Tonight we will discuss just how valuable making amends is in our recovery journey. Making amends is essential to repair damaged relationships, release guilt & shame, and build long term sobriety by taking personal accountability. By rectifying past wrongs, we can move from regret & shame to action, strengthening integrity, rebuilding trust and preventing relapse by clearing our conscience. Hope to see you tonight at 7pm for more reasons how making amends can lead us to freedom in Christ Jesus!

CELEBRATE RECOVERY
OF BLAIRSVILLE
Not sure about you, but I have sometimes wondered, “Am I making a difference? Do the things I do have any kind of meaning or significance?”
Instead of seeking approval & acceptance from the world, we can experience unspeakable peace & fulfillment when we realize that the deepest kind of significance isn’t something we ACHIEVE - it’s something we RECEIVE from Jesus! So, instead of scrambling to try harder & do more & more, we can be still and know that God, who holds the universe in place, delights in us! 🙂 He doesn’t just “tolerate” us, He actually rejoices over us with singing!! 🙂
Hope you can join us tonight at 7pm for a life changing testimony.
