We were so proud to sponsor this Scam Awareness class held at the Community Center by Sgt Calamari and featuring Georgia Adult Protective Services and Cassie from Tri- State Tech Support (706) 994-6183. This is a very important issue in Union County and our Sheriff's Office is one of the most active in pursuing these cases.
Interestingly, the first piece of mail we received after registering the foundation was a SCAM LETTER!! And after the class, I got an email evite from a friend, but knew from this class not to open it because
it's the latest scam out there! She confirmed this. Who knew!!
