Lost Sierra Kids is a 501c3 non profit that hosts a free children's learning program for 0-5 years old every FRIDAY (10:30a-12p).

We are also opening up a full time Early Childhood Learning Center in August 2026 in the the heart of Graeagle, CA.

Hi friends 🌿

This week’s nature invitation is a super simple one — make a Nature Wand!

Grab an empty toilet paper tube, poke a few holes in it, then head outside and let your little one collect leaves, flowers, grasses, pine needles, or tiny treasures they find along the way.

Tuck them into the holes and watch their Nature Wand come to life ✨

Simple, free, and a sweet way to slow down and notice what’s growing right outside your door.

And don’t forget to come see us at the Schoolhouse this Friday, August 28th! We’d love to see you there.🌲

Hi friends! 🌲💗

Join us tomorrow and next Friday at the schoolhouse for our Community Volunteer + Enrollment Days — and come help us paint a little piece of Lost Sierra Kids history!

We’ll have our Paint-a-Board fundraiser set up at the schoolhouse, with paint and supplies ready to go. Purchase a board for $40 or 3 for $100, then paint it yourself and become part of the schoolyard fence for years to come.

Don’t want to paint? You can also sponsor a child to paint a board for you!

Every board purchased helps us get one step closer to opening our doors this September, while creating a colorful, joyful schoolyard for our kids.

Hi friends 🌲

We’re getting so excited as we prepare to open Lost Sierra Kids Learning Center this September!

Join us for our Enrollment + Community Volunteer Days on Friday, August 21 and Friday, August 28 from 10 AM–4 PM at the schoolhouse.

Families can stop by to complete enrollment paperwork, meet our teachers, tour the space, ask questions, and pay in person. We’ll also be working together to get the schoolhouse ready for our students, so if you’d like to lend a hand, we’d love to have you! Fence boards will be available to purchase and paint to be part of our schoolyard if you would like to purchase a board they are $40 each or 3 for $100 and you can also buy a board and sponser a child who wants to paint it for you!

Come for an hour or stay for the day — all skills are welcome. ❤️

Can’t make either date? You can still enroll anytime! Just contact us to set up an enrollment appointment.

We can’t wait to open our doors in September and welcome our families into the Lost Sierra Kids community! 🌲🏫✨

We had such a wonderful time yesterday meeting and chatting with everyone, showing everyone our progress on the schoolhouse, and looking through our artists beautiful made wares.

I have legitimately never been to a craft fair where I wanted to buy something from every booth...well, this one I do. And we stained glass, kids sensory boxes and books, wonderful handmade leather Western accessories, delicious tasty canned goods, wonderfully baked sourdough treats, Health and Wellness products and so much more.

So if you missed us yesterday, that's OK. , come see us today from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the schoolhouse. You can come tour the inside and we'll guide you through the newly remodeled schoolhouse, come support our local artists, we have wonderful music starting at 10:30 a.m. from RANSOM, and then when you're done pop next door to the Graeagle Park and visit the Lost Sierra arts and crafts fair. They have even more wonderful things to see and bring home.

Our Craft Fair & Open House is THIS Friday & Saturday, and we would love to meet you!

If you’ve been thinking about enrolling your child with Lost Sierra Kids, this is the perfect opportunity to come see our new schoolhouse, meet our teachers, ask questions, and get a feel for what our preschool community is all about. 💛

DM us, message us, or reach out directly to set up a time on our scheduled tours - we will be walking through the schoolhouse on a guided tour every 20 minutes so if you are interested in the progress we have made so far - this is your opportunity to see with your own eyes! HUGE shoutout to the West Family for the construction, endless support and small town world building they are funding, endorsing and making happen all the way.

We’d love to meet as many potential families as possible this weekend!

The time is fast approaching, and we’re getting so close to opening the Graeagle Schoolhouse—a place built for our kids, our families, and our community. We couldn’t be more excited, but we need your help to get us across the finish line.
