We are saddened by the passing of our longtime volunteer, Neil.
Neil was one of the Washington County Recycling Association's most dedicated volunteers. He generously gave countless hours of his time to the Recycling Center and faithfully managed the brokering of our recyclables for many years. His commitment, dependability, and willingness to serve played an important role in our mission and helped make our organization what it is today.
Neil will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of working with him. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

Neil was born on August 19th, 1929 and passed away on July 9th, 2026 at the age of 96

Our volunteer group today was Christ Lutheran Church. We ❤️ our regular groups. They show up, work and have a good time. Thank you for volunteering with us!

We offer scholarships for high school seniors from Washington County. One of the requirements is to volunteer at the recycling center. You can begin volunteering now if you will be a high school senior graduating in 2027. Please stop in and ask for more information if you are interested. We have a limited number of scholarships spots available so we will take the first that apply.
