Hello friends, a CAP Announcement
After a 14 year tenure as CAP president & other CAP leadership roles, I will be stepping away from leadership responsibilities on June 30. My heart remains strong for caring for neighbors experiencing the effects of poverty & crisis, & I love the people I serve with. So this change is not due to any issues, l have just entered a stage in life where I feel I can best serve by teaching & encouraging others. It has been a privilege to be part of a great organization that desires to love & serve its neighbors. I am also very grateful for the support Pastors, Community members, & wonderful Volunteers have given me all these years. It has been great to have been part of the significant changes & growth in CAP programs.
One of the three Managing Directors will be the interim board President until a suitable board candidate can be found. My fellow board members are great people & well equipped to lead this ministry into the future. I will remain connected to CAP as a ministry advisor & volunteer recruiter.
