2 days away till the Kids Kite Festival returns to Birch Bay State Park! 🪁 Thank you to our partner in community events, Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Recreation District 2, for organizing our first kids makers market, where kids ages 8-16 sell handmade items they have created in a real market-style setting. All in a supportive, family-friendly environment. 🎨

Join us at Birch Bay State Park on this weekend, June 20, 11am-5pm & 21, 11am-4pm for the Kids Kite Festival for a weekend full of entertainment from Wren the Juggler and Wagon of Whimsey, vendors, a kids makers market, and so much more! Thank you to everyone who came out to the first Comic Festival in Blaine this past weekend! We had an awesome time nerding out over the amazing costumes, saving the world during the Superhero Fun Run, and training the next generation of heros in the Kids Zone.

Thank you to all the vendors who brought such cool, unique crafts, games, trinkets, comic books, posters, and more for us to geek out over.

And of course, a big thank you to our staff and volunteer team for making this event possible.

🤠 Howdy! You know what time it is - time for the Monday roundup, where we're rounding up some of our favorite upcoming events and activities. Hold on to your hats, partners:
- The FIRST Family Field Day of the summer is this Tuesday at Blaine Marine Park from 5-6:30 p.m. It's FREE, drop-in for however long you like, and great for the whole family (adult supervision required)
- Beginner Henna Art on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Cost is $15 per person and advanced registration is required.
- Our last Community Dinner before we take a break for the summer is this Thursday evening; open to all and cost is by donation.
- Happy Feet Dance is Friday evening. Open to all ages, $5 drop-in fee. Don't know the moves? Don't worry - admission comes with demos, instructions and snacks!
- Kids Makers Market is this weekend at Kite Festival (registration is still open on our website!)
- POUND Pop Up is this Saturday at 9 a.m. No registration required!
- Paint & Sip at L&L Bakery on Saturday evening - registration is required.
