Honored to receive the endorsement of the Blaine Police Officers Association.

Our incredible men and women in law enforcement risk their lives to keep us safe; I value their trust and am excited to represent them in Olympia.

June 14 commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777, by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.

To date, there have been 27 official versions of the flag, but the arrangement of the stars varied according to the flag-makersโ€™ preferences until 1912 when President Howard Taft standardized the then-new flagโ€™s 48 stars into six rows of eight. The 49-star flag, as well as the 50-star flag, also have standardized star patterns. The current version of the flag dates to July 4, 1960, after Hawaii became the 50th state in 1959.

Their Duty was to Serve.
Our Duty is to Remember. ยฎ

An exceptionally emotional day today as we honoroed the Rocha Family and the Everett Police Department. Dan was described as a protector time and time again - from his youth til the day of his death. He lived the mantra 'To Protect and Serve' - and we are better for having known him, his family and his friends.

Thank you for allowing us to serve Everett PD, Dan's family and the Everett community.
