We’re excited to recognize one final standout from Kay County!

Our final exhibitor is Baylin Brandon from the Newkirk Go-Getters 4-H Club. Baylin made the Sale of Champions with his Hampshire Barrow, earning 2nd in class and an impressive 15th Overall!

Kay County had another standout showing at OYE!

Our next highlight is Taylor Otto from the Ponca City FFA Chapter, who wrapped up her final OYE during her senior year with an impressive showing.

Taylor made the sale with her Crossbred Market Steer after winning Class 4! As Lot #156 in the sale, she was backed by multiple buyers some of which included the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association and P&K Equipment.

She also found success with her second Crossbred steer, winning Class 2.

Congratulations to Taylor on an outstanding final OYE and a successful show career! đź‘Ź Wishing her the best in her next adventures.

✨ OYE Highlight Series ✨

Kay County made its mark at this year’s OYE! 👏 We’re excited to highlight some standout accomplishments from our exhibitors.

Our first highlight is Kinley Brown from the Newkirk FFA Chapter!

Kinley found success in the breeding doe show, winning Class 4 and going on to be named Reserve Champion of Division 2!

She also exhibited two market wethers in extremely competitive classes—earning 8th in Class 8, Division 3, and 7th in Class 14, Division 5. Notably, the Overall Grand Champion Market Wether Goat came out of that Class 14!

Huge congratulations to Kinley on an outstanding OYE! 👏🎉

Market week at OYE is here, and it’s time for our exhibitors to step into the ring. The long days, early mornings, and hard work have all led up to this moment, and we couldn’t be more proud of the dedication you’ve put in all year.

It’s the show everyone has been working toward all year!

As the OYE breeding shows kick off this week, we want to wish the very best of luck to all of our exhibitors. The early mornings, late nights, and countless hours of hard work have all led to this week, and we couldn’t be more proud of the dedication you’ve shown.

Safe travels to Oklahoma City, enjoy every moment, and make memories that will last a lifetime. We know you’ll represent Kay County with the very best!

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend Lance Cochran. We may never understand why things like this happen, especially to people like Lance and his family. We are beyond grateful for the time and dedication he had for our community and our youth. The impact he made will never be forgotten.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Tracy, the kids, and all his family.
