Solely Swing at Virginia Tech

Solely Swing is a swing dance student organization at Virginia Tech! We host dances, lessons, and other events throughout the semester.

We can't wait to dance with you! We're the swing dance club at Virginia Tech - full of passionate, fun, and friendly dancers, we travel the world (or more accurately, the surrounding area) to learn new dance skills and theories and meet new people. We invite you to come out to our dances at Virginia Tech and fall in love with our laid-back and welcoming dance scene! Our club puts on four big swing

dances a semester, usually in Squires Student Center. We also host lessons/socials weekly on Wednesdays in McBryde Hall. You can learn the basics at any of the beginner's lessons which precede each monthly dance. If you'd like to learn more about the dance, you can attend our weekly lessons!

**For the first time in years, Solely Swing is making t-shirts!**

There are 3 color options available (gray, maroon, and orange) and can come in sizes S-###L. Shirts are $15 each and will be delivered sometime after spring break. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer shipping at this time; however, if enough out of town people want a shirt, we will consider it. If you would like a shirt, please fill out the order form below! Orders close March 9th.

SalsaTech, Solely Swing, and West Coast Swing are teaming up to host this year's Tri-Masquerade Ball! Come out at 7pm to learn salsa, lindy hop, or west coast swing, then dance to your heart's content from 8-11pm in Owens Ballroom.

Dressing up is encouraged! Please bring your own mask and water bottle. Due to space limitations, this event is limited to VT students only.
