Congratulations to our Past President and member, Andrew Walker, who received the Montgomery County Distinguished Award at the Leading Lights Recognition Ceremony Thursday evening! 🏆

He is well-deserved of the recognition and it comes as no surprise to our club as he received Kiwanian of the Year a few short months ago.

We were honored to hear from three members of the Christmas Store board last week at our meeting. Christmas really is all year long for these elves and Montgomery County is blessed to have them!

Kiwanis is proud to support their efforts and always enjoys working in the adult section during shopping week.

Merv is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery County/Blacksburg and they asked him for an update on how the 2025 Montgomery County Christmas Store went last year.
So Merv asked Terri Lynn who does Public Relations on the Board to go and talk to his organization.
We were treated to lunch and then Meghan Kuczmarski, Past President of the club introduced us as speakers. Terri Lynn spoke about the financial standing of the Christmas Store. Vicky Ball spoke about the the new Voucher Programs and Therese told them about her work with Eligibility to go out into the community to try to reach our neighbors in need. Thank you to Kiwanis for inviting us to share our passion for the work of the Christmas Store,
