University Club at Virginia Tech Social and service club for the New River Valley Community for almost 100 years. Always looking for new members! http://www.uclub.vt.edu/membership.htm

Although we do not currently have a physical location for events, we remain active and have added more service activities. Members of the University Club include an amazing group business owners, teachers, professors, and professionals from around the New River Valley and Beyond! We offer a great variety of activities, events and service opportunities! Come join us at one of our events as a guest

and see for yourself how much fun the UClub is! Become a part of the Club's long standing history and tradition to join us for social events that include dancing, live bands, and local musicians as well as service activities that support our community and world. Learn about our new Foundation and help us build it so we can do even more to help others and eventually create a new physical home!

We are proud to announce that Michael Hudson has been hired as the new Executive Director of the Smithfield-Preston Foundation. Mike has 22 years’ experience in all aspects of the management of museums and historic sites. He replaces Ryan Spencer who is leaving Smithfield to take a position with the Classical American Homes Preservation Trust in Hillsborough, NC. The Foundation greatly appreciates all that Ryan has done for Smithfield and the leadership that he has provided over the last three years and wishes for Mike the best in his new role. http://ow.ly/LhEW50K4MLk

Outstanding event at Smithfield tonight with grad students and faculty, the Grad School, Food Science Dept. and the Club. This was George Flick's idea and has been held up by COVID. Hopefully this was the beginning of several longterm partnerships.
