🎨 Announcing the 2026 Floyd Plein Air Biennial Artists

We are proud to announce the 30 selected artists for the 2026 Floyd Plein Air Biennial, taking place September 14–19 in Floyd County, Virginia.

Chosen through a competitive call for entries, this year’s artists represent a dynamic mix of talent from across the region and beyond. Throughout the week, they will paint on location, capturing the landscapes, farms, waterways, and town scenes that define Floyd.

From mountain vistas to downtown streets, each artist will bring their own perspective to our community through plein air painting.

✨ Join us this September for artist demonstrations, the Quick Draw Contest, wet paint sales, and the Gala Art Sale.
