Three roosters, their lovely ladies, three separate perches, and one cozy bedroom! 🐓🏡💚

When heating three chicken coops became too expensive, we got creative. The chickens now have their very own room in our house!

Everyone seems happy with the new arrangements.

🦃 Barnyard Diaries: Larry’s Personal Space Investigation

10/04/2026

Ollie came to us nine years ago from an overcrowded shelter in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Today, he’s healthy, happy, and very loved.

Every night, Ollie climbs onto my chest, settles in, and looks right into my eyes while giving me those long, slow blinks—the little feline way of saying, “I trust you. I feel safe with you.”

Then he closes his eyes and turns on that ridiculously loud purr. 😂

Nine years ago, he needed a home.

Somewhere along the way, he became part of mine.

Meet Larry. 🦃💚

Every morning, I say good morning to Larry and ask her the same question:

“Are you ready to face the day?”

First, a little feather ball begins to stir.

Then an eye appears.

Then a face.

And finally, an entire turkey emerges to carefully consider the question.

Today, Larry’s answer was apparently no.

She ducked right back out of the picture. 🤣

Some mornings you face the day.

Some mornings you become a feather ball again.

Honestly, Larry has this whole life thing figured out. 😂🦃💚

“Drink Responsibly. Rescue Recklessly.”

Featuring my original pig & chicken artwork—and honestly, I’m not sure these two have ever looked more qualified to give life advice. 🤣

Every purchase helps support the rescued residents of Funny Farm Animal Sanctuary. 💚

So pour yourself a glass, raise it to the animals, and remember:

Drink responsibly. Rescue recklessly. 🍷🐷🐔💚
