Please help us keep our beautiful fields clean!!

🐾 Help Keep Our Parks Clean for Our Kids! ⚾️
We love seeing our parks, soccer fields, and baseball fields being used and enjoyed by the community—and especially by our kids. ❤️
Lately, we’ve had an increase in pet waste being left behind on fields, and unfortunately, it’s ending up on children while they’re playing. This creates an unhealthy and unpleasant environment for everyone.
We’re asking all pet owners to please:
✅ Clean up after your pets
✅ Bring bags with you
✅ Be especially mindful around ball fields and play areas
A small effort makes a big difference in keeping our parks safe and enjoyable for families.
If the issue continues, the City may have to consider restricting access to certain fields to protect players and maintain safe conditions—we truly want to avoid that.
Thank you for doing your part to keep Blackfoot’s parks clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone! 🌳🐾

Windy conditions couldn’t stop the fun! 🌬️

Our U6 players battled the breeze, chased down every ball, and brought plenty of energy, determination, and smiles to the field. 🤪⚽️

From flying jerseys to windswept hair, these young athletes never missed a beat.

Tuesday night was full of fun, teamwork, and a reminder that a little wind is no match for a group of kids who love the game! 💚⚽💛

This is Raul.

If you’ve ever played, coached, refereed, or cheered from the sidelines at our fields, you’ve seen the results of his work, even if you’ve never met him.

While most of us head home after the last game, Raul is making sure every inch of our fields gets the water it needs. He spends countless hours moving irrigation, picking up trash, caring for the grounds, and doing the little things that keep our fields looking their best.

Because of him (and the rest of the amazing Parks and Rec Department at Blackfoot) our players get to play on fields that are green, safe, and beautiful.

But it’s not just the fields he loves. Raul loves the game itself. You’ll often find him watching from a distance, smiling as he sees the next generation of players enjoying the same sport that means so much to him.

The funny thing about Raul? He’d probably rather spend an extra hour moving pipes than spend 30 seconds having someone recognize him for it. Getting a photo of him is harder than getting a goal past a top goalkeeper.

So if you see him around the fields, take a moment to say thank you. The fields don’t take care of themselves, and people like Raul are a big reason our soccer community is so special.

Night ✌🏽

U8 and U10 get to share the fields for probably our busiest night during the week!💚💛

Last night was filled with full fields, youth refs, lots of fans and skilled players. 🙌🏽⚽️

So many smiles, cheers and line-ups.

We love seeing our coaches and players practice good sportsmanship with high-fives and cheering for the other teams.🥳

Our volunteer referees work hard at making sure these kids can have the best game possible, we are so lucky so many people band together to make nights like these possible!🥹🫶🏽

We are lucky to have gotten a pack of trading cards for every kid in our league! 🤪

We had fun handing these out and seeing how excited everyone was for them!

💛BATTLE OF THE YELLOW AND GREEN💚

Our Tuesday nights are filled with love, laughter and a whole lot of soccer.
We LOVE watching all of our future pros play with the biggest smile on their faces. 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽

Heck, even the coaches can be seen grinning ear to ear! 😁
