🚨⚠️ SCAM ALERT! PLEASE BE AWARE! ⚠️🚨
We have been made aware that someone has been commenting on posts about our Howls & Meows Halloween Bazaar, telling people to message them about becoming a vendor.
THIS IS NOT US!
🐾 Blackfoot Animal Shelter & Rescue is NOT asking anyone to contact an individual through Facebook to sign up as a vendor!
Unfortunately, scammers love to take advantage of community events, and we do not want anyone getting tricked or losing money.
🚫 Please DO NOT:
* Message random individuals claiming to represent our event.
* Send money or personal information to anyone claiming to reserve vendor spaces.
* Trust someone simply because they commented on one of our event posts.
✅ If you are ever unsure about something, PLEASE call us directly or stop by the shelter! We are always happy to answer questions and verify information.
Our event is about bringing our community together, supporting local vendors, and helping our shelter animals. It is sad that people try to take advantage of something meant to do good.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL, and if you see suspicious comments, report them!
