The Appalachian Herb Collective is honored to join our friends Rising Appalachia at Pisgah Brewing for the Hurricane Helene Anniversary shows. Visit our free community herbal table where you can sip nourishing teas during the event and create a custom blend to take home for yourself and your family. It is hard to believe that nearly a year has passed since the storm, and we are deeply grateful for the resilience of our community and for the opportunity to come together in celebration through song and music. This is a space to gather, connect, and remember the healing power of plants.

Last night was a beautiful display of community herbalism in action. Volunteers gathered to support the Appalachian Herb Collective in our neighborhood and on going mission of getting herbal medicine into the hands of those who need it most.

Together, we bottled hundreds of tinctures for stress support, immune health, and system toning. We filled bags with handcrafted teas, poured herbal vinegars, and infused every task with care and intention.

After the work was done, we sat down to a nourishing feast of wild and foraged foods—sharing stories, laughter, and a deep sense of purpose.

We are so incredibly grateful to each and every person who shows up, time and again, to help carry this work forward.
This is what grassroots herbalism looks like.
This is how we care for one another.

Join us Saturday, 11-3 pm at Elderflower Care Community with Appalachian Herb Collective for a garden volunteer day, food and free herbal products. Elderflowercommunity.org, a non-profit, multi-generational day camp, was set to open when Helene hit and Annie and Renee found themselves with 10 feet of mud and water in their center. Through generous support of the community in donations and labor, they are getting closer to their vision for Elderflower. Appalachian Herb Collective will have herbal donations to share for support, made locally or donated regionally and nationally. Let's show our support for Elderflower in Fairview!
