Founded in 2013, the Black Mountain Authors Guild is dedicated to promoting literacy and the love of reading in Black Mountain and the Swannanoa Valley. We do this by:
1. promoting the sales and marketing of our members work, both individually and as a group.
2. encouraging young readers and writers by offering prizes, scholarships, and books. Members are published authors who reside in this rich and artistically fertile geographic area. Prospective members may apply for membership to the guild by contacting Jerry Pope: [email protected]. Use the subject "Membership."
