Ours is the ONLY ALL-VOLUNTEER thrift shop in Black Mountain. When you shop with us, or donate goods to us, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you're not supporting salaries or high overhead.

We pay no rent on our building because we own it free and clear. NO MORTGAGE, AND NO PAID EMPLOYEES = VERY LOW OVERHEAD, which is why we can sell things at VERY LOW PRICES.

Even more importantly, our proceeds don't support just one charity, they support students, schools and MANY charitable organizations, ALL HERE IN THE SWANNANOA VALLEY.

A staff of 80+ volunteers (more than half non-Kiwanians) helps keep our shop running, 7 hours a day, 6 days a week.

Our Thrift Shop is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're going to get! Every day we receive donations of clothing, shoes, children's toys, books, kitchen and other household goods, art, lamps, small appliances, CD'S, DVD'S, VHS tapes and other items...(most used but in good condition.) So, come shop with us often to get what you want before someone else does! We have very low prices on everything.
