Black Mountain Center for the Arts We are a nonprofit community arts center located in Black Mountain's old City Hall building. We also offer workshops and summer camps.

Located in the beautifully renovated Old City Hall since 2000, the Black Mountain Center for the Arts offers public Exhibits, Concerts, Theatre, Festivals, Special Events and a myriad of classes for all ages in music, dance, visual arts, writing, and more. We have a separate building for our Clay Studio with classes and independent study opportunities (including a handicap accessible potters wheel). The main building is in the heart of the historic district, right next to the history museum. Our facility is nearly 100 years old, and is a wonderful site to visit as an historic landmark as well!

🚀 This show is a series of monologues and scenes, ranging in feel from darkly comic to poignant to surreal, as we explore what it might be like to be flying on board humanity’s last hope, The Generation Ship.

🚀 Brought to you by the writing team: Abby Auman, Jason Phillips, Katie Jones, and Quinn Terry, and performed in partnership with Black Mountain Center for the Arts.

🚀 Auditions will take place October 22nd from 7pm-10pm and October 24th from 2-6pm at Attic Salt Theatre Company.
