SO YOU KNOW THE DRILL...

The Senate Armed Services Committee met yesterday to discuss and vote on amendments to the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). At this point we cannot confirm or deny
whether there are any “woke” amendments to the Senate version of the NDAA that would affect the restoration of the Reconciliation Memorial to Arlington
National Cemetery. But, Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia are members so we need to be prepared if woke amendments affecting Arlington were approved by the committee. The actual texts of the approved Senate version will not be released until next week. I just read a 30 page “executive” summary of the Senate version and could not find anything alarming about Arlington, but we will be on guard anyway!

you on our next necessary steps to block any bad amendments, if any! We are behind in paying bills, so please

I have 3 trips on my credit card totalling $900 that are nagging me, all including hotel & car rental expense for attending & speaking at the HK Memorial, and 2 important Arlington trips, including conferring with an old friend who will almost certainly become a newly elected congressman's Chief of Staff in the Fall.

Tomorrow, the Senate Armed Services Committee begins consideration of amendments to the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act.

This is where we expect Senators Kaine and Warren to attempt to block restoration of the Reconciliation Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery through NDAA language affecting Section 16.

They are counting on your silence.

HAPPY Arlington/DC Confederate Memorial Day (03 JUN)

The House Armed Services Committee took up amendments to the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act on Thursday. The Strickland Amendment, which would restore woke base names passed in the committee 29-27. The Amendment concerned base names only so does not affect the Reconciliation Memorial.

The Amendments will now be debated by the Senate Armed Services Committee on Wednesday 10 JUN at 9AM. We are trying to find out what the specific odious bits are in the Senate version and will let everyone know when we know. But you can start prep calling now.

This year marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. The Memorial should be back in place by July 4th as a symbol of national unity.

SPLC AT IT AGAIN

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has raised a billboard in Putnam County, Florida that pushes for the removal of a Confederate monument that stands at the entrance of the county’s Courthouse.
SPLC said the billboard is in support of the Putnam Alliance For Equity and Justice (PAEJ), which has been advocating for the removal of the monument since 2020.
We need our own Billboard in Response: Hey SPLC marxists: "White Supremacy" ??? What part of memorializing dead heroes who defended their hearth & home from a hellish military invasion do you NOT understand??!!
The US Attorney has widened his investigation into the SPLC and has released a superceding indictment that includes an allegation that a SPLC employee gave $1.2 million to his/her neo-nazi lover. You can't make this stuff up:-)

VISITED HK on MEMORIAL DAY

Visited HKs grave on Memorial Day, permanent marker has not arrived yet. My nephew left a Confederate flag at the grave yesterday, but will probably be removed by the end of the day. HK is in Section 9A grave 662 of the Black Mountain Veteran's Cemetery.

UNEXPECTED EXPENSES

Ancestry.com is a very useful tool for the SLRC, we use it as a search engine for finding people that don't want to be found, finding living descendants for Confederates buried in Arlington, But the annual automatic renewal is $479.00 Ouch!

Including car rental I spent $500 (also on a credit card) traveling to Elm Springs and back for the HK Memorial a few weeks ago.

And Brenna had to visit Urgent Care this week $200 (she's fine) But that's a total of $1200 out of pocket, for your Chief Trial counsel who mostly survives on his Social Security.

DEAR COMPATRIOT

For everyone who called and wrote Governor Youngkin before he left office can take pride knowing they played a crucial part in our overall protective strategy.

Virginia’s history deserves protection, and we are grateful for the engagement shown by so many.

CURRENT STATUS
Our team and allies are initiating discussions with Arlington National Cemetery to move toward timely reinstallation. Three years is too long. And they, like us, recognize that delays introduce risk that could jeopardize our goal.

IMMEDIATE THREATS
With the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) underway and national elections approaching, there is a narrow window to complete the reinstallation. Leadership changes or new legislation could create additional roadblocks. Our goal is to build strong support in the House Armed Services Committee to keep the path clear for restoration.

ACTION REQUESTED
COMPATRIOT this is the moment for action. We are asking you to make a brief call to these important Congressional Committee Members. The goal is simple: urge them to support reinstalling the Reconciliation Memorial in time for America 250 — our nation’s 250th anniversary.

Rep Don Bacon (R-NEB), a woke, retired USAF Brigadier General, is threatening to propose an amendment to the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that would block federal funding being used to restore the Reconciliation Memorial to Arlington National Cemetery.

SO YOU KNOW THE DRILL...

you can go ahead and call Rep Mike Rogers (202-224-3121) of the House Armed Services Committee and Senator Roger F. Wicker (202-224-3121) of the Senate Armed Services Committee, and tell that they need to kill any anti-Reconciliation Memorial Amendments to the 2027 NDAA. Then call your own Congressman & Senators and tell them to call Rogers and Wicker with the same message and be prepared to vote against the Bacon Amendment if it comes to a floor vote. We will be adding the House and Senate Committee members for future calls. The FIGHT continues!!
