Radical Roots Project

Radical Roots Project The Radical Roots Project brings together the stories of individuals working toward creative change in Appalachia.

For more info, check out our website: www.radicalrootsproject.org The Radical Roots Project is an oral history project that brings together the stories of individuals working toward creative change in Appalachia. Whether writing, farming, storytelling, instrument building, horse logging, or community organizing, each story offers a framework for a new interpretation, understanding and meaning of r

esistance in Appalachia. These diverse forms of resistance emerge from intimate local relationships, reflect a deep sense of place, and serve as a catalyst for increased community engagement and democratic empowerment.
