WC Parent(s) and Guardian(s)-

As you start checking off those supply lists and browsing the aisles for fresh school outfits, we want to help make your back-to-school shopping as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Before hitting the checkout line, take a quick peek at our WC School Dress Code Guide below to ensure every new fit is classroom-ready on day one.

Quick Back-to-School Shopping Checklist:

Tops: Stick to full-coverage t-shirts, polos, and modest tops that cover the entire torso. Bare midriffs, halter tops, thin tank straps, and cut-off sleeveless tees aren't permitted.

Bottoms: Choose shorts and skirts that reach mid-thigh or longer. Ultra-short denim or cut-off athletic shorts are best saved for the weekend.

Footwear: Go for sturdy, closed-toe shoes like sneakers or flats to keep students safe during recess, PE, and hallway transitions. Flip-flops, slides, and slippers should stay at home.

We can’t wait to see all our students back in the halls, ready to learn and succeed! Check out the infographic attached to this post for visual DOs and DON'Ts to help guide your shopping trips.

See you all very soon! 🧡🖤

Time to share this again. While driving behind someone carrying a huge load to the transfer station last weekend, it happened again.

AUGUST 4th the following language will be on the ballot for your vote. The Township is not asking for an increase in the millage rate.

We are asking for a yes vote to renew the rate we have been at since before the current Township Board took office. As a matter of fact, the mill has been lowered during their term 2 times. Once 1/2 mill and the next, 1/4 mill.
Generally the millages come up for a vote in alternate years (3 in each election cycle) however, somehow they have all come up for a vote in 2026. Which is shocking when you see it on paper. But they are all critical in providing Fire, MFR, Township, Cemetery, Transfer Station and Road services to Lilley Township. If any millage does not pass, that service will have to end because it will run out of money.
Lets be clear...... the millage request is a RENEWAL NOT AN INCREASE. Please consider a YES vote. Thank you for your consideration.
