Former Club member Lisa Engelstad presented to us last week. She recently joined and gave us a great overview of the organization and the benefits of going through a BIO Girls program. Bismarck and Mandan have multiple year round groups available for young girls in our community to join!

🇺🇸 Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our country. From all of us at Sertoma, we recognize the weight of this day and the sacrifice it represents. We also hold deep appreciation for the families and communities who carry those memories forward. May we each take a moment to reflect and express gratitude in our own way this Memorial Day. ❤️🤍💙

The club was lucky to be joined by Bismarck Public Schools Dr. Jeff Fastnacht, BPS Superintendent this week. Jeff gave an excellent presentation on the upcoming bond vote and the district’s plans for the funding if it’s approved. Thank you for the detailed explanation of the student needs in our area.

The club was happy to support the Bismarck Arbor Day celebration again this year on May 1st! The event at Eldridge Park was excellent and the weather was wonderful. Thanks to all who sponsored and participated!

This week the club was joined by Bismarck Parks & Rec members who put together a presentation on the history of the local Sertoma Club! We loved getting to see some of our own history and the lasting impacts the club has had in the community. Their research was completed as part of the preparation for their centennial celebration in 2027. Stay tuned for announcements on various activities throughout next year to commemorate 100 years of Bismarck Parks & Rec!
