An amazing ministry, you should ALL consider being a part of!

Throughout the month of June, Legacy will be collecting an offering to support our own Shoes of Hope mission. 👟

Every August, we get out into the community and host a free event to help elementary and middle school students start the school year on the right foot! Shoes of Hope will be open to the first 200 kindergarten through 8th grade students that register. (Registration for child participants will open on July 1.) This year's event will be on Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 3 pm to 6 pm at South Central High School, near Kiwanis Park in south Bismarck.

Your donation to the June Impact Offering will help us pay for the shoes, devotion books, food, and drinks that we'll serve to the kids and their families. See https://www.legacyumc.org/shoes-of-hope for details.

You can give:

✅ In person at Sunday worship
✅ Dropping by the office (9 am – 3 pm Monday – Thursday)
✅ Any time at legacyumc.org/give (select "Monthly Impact Fund" in the dropdown)

Ever wonder what 700+ hotdogs look like? 🌭🌭🌭😮

This was our kitchen earlier today. We had the joy of helping feed around 400 8th graders from Horizon Middle School next door. They had a field trip over their lunch and needed logistical help. They provided the hotdogs, and we warmed them up and brought them back to the school.

We love opportunities like this to be a Community of Impact: stepping outside our walls, serving our neighbors, and reminding our community that they are seen, valued, and loved. 🫶

Congrats on a successful school year in the books! 🎉 One more day until summer vacation!

💙 COMMUNITY SUPPORT NEEDED FOR HOPE FOR THE DAY! 💙

Seeds of Hope, the Abused Adult Resource Center’s thrift store, is hosting Hope for the Day; a volunteer day dedicated to helping improve and care for the spaces that support our mission and the community we serve.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with:
✔️ Cleaning
✔️ Organizing
✔️ Yard work
✔️ Painting
✔️ Other improvement projects

🗓 July 29th, 2025
⏰ 9AM–4PM
We are also looking for:
✔️ Community members willing to volunteer
✔️ Local businesses interested in having staff volunteer for the day
✔️ Sponsors for lunch for our volunteers

This is a great opportunity to give back, support a local non-profit mission, and help make a meaningful difference in our community.
