NDAA would like to extend a sincere thank you to the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) for hosting the 2026 Local & Regional Groups Committee Roundtable in St. Louis this week!

NDAA Past Chairman Tanner Overland and Association Manager Renee Murrish were proud to represent North Dakota alongside aviation leaders from across the country. The annual roundtable provided an excellent opportunity to collaborate, exchange ideas, and learn best practices that strengthen state and regional aviation organizations.

Throughout the event, participants discussed important topics including aviation advocacy, nonprofit governance, CRM implementation, organizational leadership, and strategies to better serve the aviation communities we represent. Just as valuable were the conversations and relationships built with fellow aviation association leaders from across the nation.

We're excited to bring these ideas and insights back to North Dakota as we continue working to strengthen aviation throughout our state and better serve our members.

Thank you again to NBAA and Gulfstream for making this valuable event possible. We appreciate the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and continue advancing aviation together!

Attention Pilots Flying in Central & Western North Dakota

A VIP Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) will be in effect around the Bismarck and Medora areas on July 1, 2026. If you're planning to fly, be sure to check the latest NOTAMs before every flight, as locations and times may change.

Previous TFRs in this area have resulted in numerous airspace violations, so let's work together to keep everyone informed and operating safely.

Please take a moment to review the attached alert and share it with fellow pilots, flight schools, airport staff, and anyone else in the aviation community.

A quick reminder today could prevent an airspace violation tomorrow. Fly safe!

"Please accept the enclosed contribution to the Cynthia Schreiber-Beck Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Reaching endowment status is a meaningful milestone for our family. My mother believed deeply in education - not simply as a credential, but as a responsibility. She believed that when young people are given opportunity, they rise to it. She believed in discipline, service, and in using one's gifts to strengthen community.

It brings me great peace to know this scholarship will now stand permanently in her name - supporting students long after those of us who loved her most are gone. That kind of legacy would have mattered to her.
