Legacy Ghana Team and Mephibosheth Training Center of Ghana We support the work being done at Mephibosheth Training Center, which supports children having developmental disabilities.

In Ghana, Africa people who are disabled are considered “cursed” and many times families are assumed to have broken some taboo to cause the disability. The families are recommended to leave the children in the bushes and ‘let nature take its course’. Instead Mephibosheth Training Center (MTC) is giving these desperate families and children an option by trying to teach them a skill or trade that th

ey can use in society when they become adults. The 5K Race will be held to help raise funds to help meet the needs of the children/MTC.
