🚐 If you need a ride to Raging Rivers from the church, please let us know ASAP, as space is limited.

🎟️ When we arrive at the waterpark, Legacy will make one payment to Raging Rivers for all kid and student admissions. If you would like to pay the church the $14 in advance, that would be appreciated. Otherwise, you may pay Shane when you get there.

Thanks to your extravagant generosity, we raised $1,225 for our May Impact Offering! It will be given to Stepping Stone Medical Respite, who will use it in their mission to provide a safe and healing environment for individuals experiencing homelessness who need to recover from illness or injury.

What a weekend!! ❤️

We are so grateful for the many volunteers, staff members, and UMC community members who helped welcome guests from across North and South Dakota for the Annual Conference. From hospitality and meals to setup, cleanup, and countless behind-the-scenes details, this gathering was made possible by people who generously gave their time and energy to serve.

After a busy and meaningful weekend, our church office will be closed today (Monday, June 8) to allow our staff a day of rest and renewal. 😌 We look forward to being back in the office on Tuesday.

Tomorrow morning, we will welcome guest preacher, Chaplain Jenny Hallenbeck Orr. She will be filling in for Pastor Cory, who will be attending the final Annual Conference event at our sibling church McCabe UMC. Her sermon, "Real, By Design: A.I. and the Incarnation" will invite us to think about what is real, what is not, and why the difference matters for those who follow Jesus.

☀️ It's also the first Super Summer SONday! Legacy Kids are welcome to join Shane and Kaila in the kids' wing when their grownups are attending the 10:00 am service. Every time you attend a Super Summer SONday, your name will be entered into our hoverboard giveaway—and when you bring a friend, both of you get extra entries!

Throughout the month of June, Legacy will be collecting an offering to support our own Shoes of Hope mission. 👟

Every August, we get out into the community and host a free event to help elementary and middle school students start the school year on the right foot! Shoes of Hope will be open to the first 200 kindergarten through 8th grade students that register. (Registration for child participants will open on July 1.) This year's event will be on Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 3 pm to 6 pm at South Central High School, near Kiwanis Park in south Bismarck.

Your donation to the June Impact Offering will help us pay for the shoes, devotion books, food, and drinks that we'll serve to the kids and their families. See https://www.legacyumc.org/shoes-of-hope for details.

You can give:

This month, the Legacy church community is collecting diapers, pull-ups, and wipes for the MSA United Way. 👶

This local nonprofit's mission is to unite people and resources to activate volunteers, support and deliver programs and services, and fund solutions for a stronger community. Donations may be any size for babies and children.

Drop off donations at Legacy:

✅ On Sundays in worship
✅ During the week at the office (9 am – 3 pm Monday – Thursday)
✅ Skip the line and ship to the church
