Legacy Students, join us for a "Mock-In" (only until 10 pm, not all night) hosted by Peace Lutheran Church of Lincoln! We're looking forward to spending time with other Bismarck/Mandan middle and high school students in the broader faith community.

It will take place Friday, September 18 from 6–10 PM at Peace Lutheran Church of Lincoln (3310 66th Street, Lincoln, ND 58504). Bring a friend and come enjoy: fun activities and games; pizza and snacks; time to hang out and connect; and ending the night with a devotional. No cost. No pressure. Just a great evening to meet new people, have fun, and grow together.

In our "Ask Anything" series, we are going to go deeper and tackle some really hard theological questions. Theology simply means the study of God, which includes questions like: Why are things the way they are? Why did God allow...? Why do bad things happen to me? Join us tomorrow morning as we try to answer the deeper questions of life and faith. See you there!

Help your child discover the joy of worshiping God through music! 🎶

Our Children's Choir is open to kids in 1st-8th grade and will meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month (starting September 20) for 20 minutes in the Legacy Students space following the 10:00 am Sunday morning worship service.

Together, we'll learn the basics of singing, explore how music can be a way to praise God, and grow in confidence as we learn to use our voices to worship. 🎤 No special experience is needed—just a willingness to sing, learn, and have fun!

Lord Jesus, we humbly ask that you be with us on Legacy's land sale journey. Thank you for bringing healing and stability to Legacy's financial status now and until the land has sold. We thank you for preparing the hearts and minds of prospective buyers, whose purpose for the land would glorify you. Break through any barriers that prevent Legacy from continuing to welcome ALL your children. We ask this through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen. 🙏

Join us tomorrow night for a special event we're hosting with Bismarck Global Neighbors!

"A Taste of Home" will feature a delicious variety of homemade Pan African dishes, personal stories of resilience and hope, and the chance to connect with others in the spirit of community.

All are welcome! Admission is a freewill donation—100% of which will be given to Bismarck Global Neighbors to support their mission of fostering a welcoming community for New Americans and English Learners in North Dakota.

Many thanks to the volunteers who showed up at the crack of dawn to help Shane cook and deliver breakfast to Horizon Middle School's teachers and staff last week! 🥓🍳 It went really well, and they were impressed by the delicious food – which helped fuel through them through a busy day of welcoming students and parents back for Open House.

They sent back this poster full of thank-you notes, which is currently displayed in the gathering space for you to read up close. Thank you for helping us care for our neighbors and be a Community of Impact! 🫶
