We're looking for board members! 🙋

The Arc of Bismarck has openings on our Board of Directors and we want people who are ready to show up and make a difference for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community.

No prior board experience required. We welcome backgrounds in nonprofit leadership, finance, law, healthcare, marketing, business, social work — or simply lived experience in the IDD community.

Board members serve 3-year terms and meet at least every other month. It's meaningful work, and we need you.

Join us for our upcoming Guardianship Training! Whether you're exploring options for the future or looking to better understand the guardianship process, this training is for you.

Join us to learn about:
• What guardianship is (and isn't)
• Alternatives to guardianship
• The responsibilities of a guardian
• Resources available to individuals with disabilities and their families

This training is open to individuals with disabilities, family members, caregivers, and professionals. See the event details below to register, and feel free to share this post with someone who may benefit.

This event brings together local leaders and advocates to share valuable insights, resources, and guidance for individuals with disabilities, families, and professionals.

The Arc of Bismarck Presents: Navigating Disability Services – Autism Acceptance

Join The Arc of Bismarck for a community-centered event focused on autism acceptance and empowering individuals and families through knowledge, connection, and access to resources.

This special presentation will feature expert insights from Red Door Pediatric Therapy, Family Voices of North Dakota, and Anne Carlsen. Attendees will gain valuable information on navigating disability services, understanding available supports, and strengthening advocacy efforts.
