North Dakota grows more than crops. We grow the good life. 🌾

And we’ve got the farmers to thank for it.

From honey to spring wheat, durum wheat, canola, flaxseed, oats, dry edible beans and peas and rye, North Dakota leads the nation in production.

This National Farmer’s Day, we’re celebrating the people who put in the early mornings and long days to keep our communities growing.

The birds are back, and the dogs are on the case. 🐕🌾

Pheasant season is officially open in North Dakota! For hunting dogs, this might just be the best day of the year.

And there’s plenty to get excited about this season. North Dakota has about 925,000 acres of PLOTS land open for walk-in hunting, and statewide pheasant counts are 57% above the 10-year average.

Here’s to crisp mornings, good company and plenty of tails on the trail.

Fall Saturdays in Fargo look a little like this. 🥕🎶

As North Dakota’s largest farmers market, the Red River Market brings fresh produce, baked goods, local art, live music and plenty of reasons to spend the afternoon downtown.

With rotating themes and activities throughout the season, no two Saturdays are quite the same. It’s a place for North Dakota makers, growers and the community to come together right in the heart of Fargo.

University of North Dakota Hockey is back, and there’s nothing quite like a game day in Grand Forks. Home to eight NCAA national championships, North Dakota Men's Hockey has built one of college hockey’s most storied programs.

And then there’s The Ralph. Ralph Engelstad Arena is a 400,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art arena known as one of the premier hockey facilities in the country, making a packed house in Grand Forks an experience all its own.

And North Dakota is ready for a good one. Ample spring precipitation created near-ideal nesting and brood-rearing habitat, setting the stage for another strong hunting season.

With more than 1 million acres of public hunting access, wide-open spaces and generations of tradition, North Dakota is a hunter’s paradise.
