Spotlight Wednesday!

When Lawrence first connected with our team, he was facing some of the most difficult challenges of his life. After being diagnosed with cancer, he lost his job, had no health insurance, no income, and was experiencing homelessness while undergoing treatment.

Working together, we helped him navigate resources, secure stable housing, and regain financial stability during his recovery journey.

Today, he is living in his own apartment, has a stable source of income, and best of all—he is cancer free!

Stories like this remind us that with the right support, determination, and community resources, life can take a remarkable turn for the better. We are honored to have been part of his journey.

We have a new Volunteer Signup Platform!

We have switched our volunteer signups to POINT! This change is for a more user-friendly platform for volunteers to sign up for the Ministry's Volunteer opportunities. This platform will still be accessible on our website, but it also has an app that can be set up on your phone! We also will be transitioning to a check-in kiosk to more accurately track the time our Volunteers are volunteering!

Please reach out with any questions you might have about this transition, and we will have staff available to help explain and get set up through POINT!
