The Bismarck Rural Fire Department is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of the following:

2003 American LaFrance Metropolitan
1,500 GPM Darley (ALD1500) single stage centrifugal pump
1,000 gallon tank
Cummins ISC-350 engine
2,970 miles, 2,680.1 hours
Allison 3500 Series transmission

Included in sale:
Two sections of 10 foot hard suction hose
24 foot, two-section ground ladder
14 foot roof ladder
TFT deck gun with stacked tips (1 ⅜, 1 ½, 1 ¾, 2 inches)
Intercom System

Truck has been well maintained and inspected weekly. The pump is certified annually. Maintenance records are available.
Sale is “as-is” condition and transportation is the responsibility of the buyer.

Sealed bids must be received no later than 5 pm on February 19, 2026.

BRFA will be selling our sponsor shirts tonight at the street dance at Crystals in Lincoln, ND. Only $10 for a shirt (Small-3XL) with 50% of the proceeds being donated to Chaplain Carr to help defray expenses after his heart surgery. Look for the table full of shirts or the cooler cart driving around to get your one of a kind shirt.

Lincoln days water ball contest was a success. We had participants from Bismarck Rural, Mandan City, and Sterling Rural fire departments. First place went to Sterling and second place went to a tie between Mandan and Bismarck Rural. Thanks to everyone that took part and to our great sponsors for the use of the equipment. Sparky says he wants you to come out on Saturday from noon to 4pm to watch the firefighter water ball fight and spray house for the kids. There will be several fire trucks on display and our sponsor shirts available. We will be at Lincoln Elementary school. Look for the big yellow trucks!
