Last night, our Bismarck team gathered at the bowling alley for an evening of great company and more than a few gutter balls. It was a chance to get to know coworkers from other departments, step away from the day-to-day and just enjoy being together.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, we are lucky to have such a wonderful team.

May 31 is World No To***co Day, established by the World Health Organization to raise awareness about the health risks of to***co use and to advocate for effective policies that reduce consumption worldwide.

To***co remains one of the leading causes of preventable death globally, affecting not just those who use it but the people around them. World No To***co Day is a reminder that quitting is possible, that support exists and that every step toward a to***co-free life is worth taking.

Whether you are personally working toward quitting, supporting a loved one, or simply learning more, today is a good day to start the conversation. Support is available through NDQuits by calling 1-800-QUIT-NOW or visiting https://www.hhs.nd.gov/health/ndquits.

Congratulations to Ashley, residential technician in Bismarck, for being chosen as the Summer 2026 Heart of Heartview!

"Ashley takes action when something needs to be done and she takes the time to get to know the residents," says Brianne Torres, Director of Residential Services at Bismarck's Broadway location. "A while back I shared with her how awesome it is that regularly she will play cards with residents! It is such a prosocial activity that shows she cares and values our clients."

Heartview Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Gulbranson as its new CEO, effective June 22, 2026.

Gulbranson brings more than two decades of health care leadership experience in the Fargo-Moorhead region, with a background spanning nonprofit management, health insurance, and strategic partnership development. He succeeds Kurt Snyder, who is retiring after 24 years with the organization.

Most recently, Gulbranson served as vice president of provider network strategy at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota, where he led teams focused on building provider relationships and improving health care affordability, access, quality, and member experience. Prior to that, he spent 12 years as CEO of Family HealthCare, a private nonprofit offering comprehensive primary medical and dental care, where he directed organizational growth, led successful capital campaigns and fundraising efforts, and managed a team of 160 employees.

We are excited to welcome Patrick to the Heartview team and look forward to the leadership and vision he will bring to our mission.
