North Dakota Ethanol Producers Association leaders Jeff Zueger, CEO of Harvestone Low Carbon Partners and NDEPA Secretary/Treasurer, and Ryan Carter, Chief Operating Officer of Tharaldson Ethanol LLC and NDEPA Vice President, recently presented Growth Energy’s Fueling Growth Award to Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak and Senator John Hoeven.

Growth Energy’s Fueling Growth Award recognizes members of Congress who have demonstrated strong support for America’s biofuels industry and the policies that strengthen ethanol production, agriculture and rural communities.

NDEPA appreciates Congresswoman Fedorchak and Senator Hoeven for their continued work on issues important to North Dakota’s ethanol producers, corn growers and our rural economy.

Visitors from around the world recently traveled to the Gevo North Dakota facility to see how North Dakota agriculture, ethanol production and carbon capture work together! A great look at how North Dakota continues to lead in agriculture and energy innovation! 🌽⛽

NDEPA board members Jeff Zueger and Jodi Johnson, along with Executive Director Charlie Adams, recently met with U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer to discuss several issues important to North Dakota’s ethanol industry.

The conversation included Canadian trade and its impact on North Dakota producers, the outlook for nationwide year-round E15, and EPA’s handling of Small Refinery Exemptions.

These issues matter not only to our ethanol producers, but to North Dakota corn farmers as well. A strong ethanol industry supports demand for locally grown corn, strengthens commodity markets and helps keep more value tied to agriculture right here in North Dakota.

We appreciate Senator Cramer’s continued engagement with North Dakota’s ethanol industry and the opportunity to discuss policies that directly impact our producers, farmers, rural communities and state economy.
