This year, we had 19 young entrepreneurs join us, bringing their ideas, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit.

A special thank you to our youth keynote speaker, Mariah Achtenberg for sharing her words and talking with our youth about business, goals and believing in their ideas.

Congrats to Dragswolf Lemonade on winning the People’s Choice Award!🥇 They won a spot to sell their lemonade on Saturday of Little Shell Celebration.🍋

Thank you to the community for showing up and supporting these young entrepreneurs and especially to the parents and families who helped their kids prepare, create and sell.🌟

🌟 Lemonade Festival Youth Keynote Spotlight 🌟

We’re excited to welcome 8th grader, Mariah Achtenberg, MHA Nation, of White Shield School as our Youth Keynote Speakers at the Lemonade Festival! 🍋✨

Mariah has incredible passion for creativity and storytelling!
Achievements:
• 2025 Earth Day Patch Overall Contest Winner (selected from 100 schools and over 1,600 entries!)
• 2026 North Dakota Scholastic Art & Writing Silver Key Regional Award recipient for her powerful artwork, My Cultural Blood, earning the award as the youngest winner while competing alongside mostly 11th and 12th grade students.

Favorite Subjects: Art & Language Arts
Interests: Art, Cookie Run Kingdom, Cosplay and Photography.

At the Lemonade Festival, we celebrate more than great lemonade, we celebrate young people who dream big, work hard and inspire others. Mariah is a wonderful example of how creativity, confidence and leadership can make a difference at any age.🌟

ImagiNative Inc. is at the North Dakota Indian Education Summit sharing our mission, programs and resources with educators and community members from across the state.

One of today’s highlights was meeting Indigenous actor and Keynote Speaker Martin Sensmeier. We were able to gift him a copy of Bear’s Braid and share the work we’re doing to uplift Native youth through storytelling, literacy and culture.
