We offer our sincerest congratulations to Sam on attaining the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout last night, a distinction earned by only about 4 percent of scouts. Congratulations are in order to Sam, and we eagerly anticipate witnessing your future accomplishments.

We want to send a massive thank you to Dickinson Legion Post 3 for sponsoring our 2026 Cub Scout Day Camp. Because of their incredible generosity, every single registered Cub Scout can attend this year’s camp at absolutely NO COST. Thank you for investing in our Scouts and the future of our community!

This year’s theme is "Dino Discovery" and it is going to be unforgettable. Scouts will get to shoot BB guns, archery, and slingshots, create their own lava lamps, dig for fossils, and play awesome dino-themed games. We also have a few unique surprises in store, and we cannot wait to see you there!

If you completed Youth Protection Training BEFORE May 15, 2025 and have not yet taken the new Safeguarding Youth Training, you MUST update your training. All registered volunteers must have completed the new 90-minute Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT) by May 31 to remain current with Scouting America’s youth protection requirements.

Not sure where to find when your SYT expires? They can be found by logging into your My.Scouting account. Your expiration date is under your name at the top of the page. Thank you for taking the time to complete this important training and for helping us continue to provide a safe and positive Scouting experience for every youth.

Spring Fling at Heart Butte Scout Reservation gave us a taste of true ND weather.
Setting up tents in 40 mph winds, the perfect Saturday, calm and sunny, for all our programming and ending with much needed rain to help grow the 225 trees that were planted.

Many thanks to all the volunteers that helped to make the weekend successful, to all the families and scouts that spent their time with us and to our special guest merit badge counselors.
Special thank you to:
Courtney with ND game and fish for spending your morning at the fishing pier.
Sgt Elliot with Bismarck Sherriff Office for teaching Crime Prevention and Fingerprinting.
CLK Enterprises LLC and Aerial Solution Services for bringing out the variety of drones and allowing the scouts to fly them.
Dylan with Western Edge Aviation LLC for flying to Glen Ullin in his Cessna and letting the kids sit inside.

We would love to see pictures of how your weekend went!
