Dakota Pro Musica is excited to present a special singing class for parents with infants and toddlers. This class is uniquely designed to encourage music learning and enjoyment from the very start.

We are excited to officially announce that we have been awarded a $15,000 National Endowment of the Arts Grant for our recent concert and recording project of “Esther, the Beautiful Queen”. An NEA Grant is one of the most competitive and prestigious arts award in our country.

There is still a good deal of work to do on the project to edit the recording, produce the CD, create the first performing edition in 100 years, and write an article for the Choral Journal.

We are preparing for our 2026-2027 season “The Promise of Living” and will have auditions in early August for any new singers who might be interested in joining our ensemble.

Singers must be able to read music, practice on their own, and have previous choral singing experience. We are a professional ensemble and rehearse on a short schedule with only 4-5 rehearsals before a performance mostly with in just 2 weeks of the concerts.

We will have an official announcement of our season soon, but we are looking at concerts in October, December, March, April, and May.

Dr. Thoms got to meet one of our favorite composers Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate over the last two days at the Oregon Bach Festival. Dakota Pro Musica has been performing his music over the last 4 years.
