We washed and detailed the Native, Inc. vans as we prepare for the Bismarck and Mandan students who we will be transporting to and from our after school programs. 🎉 Exciting Partnership Announcement! 🤝

NATIVE, Inc.’s Great Plains Indians Youth & Family Engagement Center is excited to announce our partnership with Youthworks!

Together, we are committed to supporting Native youth and their families by working to prevent youth homelesness, juvenile delinquency, and promote diversion from court involvement whenever possible.

🌿 Through this partnership, youth and families will have opportunities to strengthen connections and access:

🪶 Culturally responsive programming
🦬 Cultural identity development
🤝 Positive peer and family connections
💙 Supportive services and trusted adult support
🌟 Youth engagement and prevention activities
⚖️ Alternatives that support diversion and help reduce court involvement

NATIVE, Inc. is excited to partner with the Bismarck Police Youth Bureau (PYB) to help prevent juvenile delinquency and support youth through court diversion, cultural programming, and positive adult support services. 🤝🌟

Through this partnership, we’re working to create meaningful opportunities for young people to connect with culture, build positive relationships, and receive the guidance and support they need to move forward on a positive path. 🦬🪶

📣 NEW EMPLOYEE ANNOUNCEMENT | BISMARCK 🎉

Please join us in welcoming Delmarina One Feather, a proud member of the Oglala Lakota and Diné Nations, to her new role as Youth & Family Engagement Cultural Coordinator with NATIVE, Inc.! 🪶❤️

Delmarina originally joined our team as a Care Coordinator and recently pursued an internal opportunity to further her passion for serving Native youth and families. We are excited to announce that she was selected to lead youth and family engagement efforts and help coordinate cultural activities throughout the Bismarck region! 🌟

🎓 Delmarina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Mary and is a proud Mahpiya Luta graduate. Having spent her youth and young adulthood on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, she carries with her the teachings, experiences, and guidance shared by respected leaders and elders.

She is also continuing her education through Arizona State University, pursuing postgraduate studies in Legal Studies with an emphasis in Tribal Self-Governance.

Delmarina shares:

“I am truly thankful for the opportunity to help maintain our ways as Indigenous peoples through NATIVE, Inc. I am honored to be part of this journey as we strengthen our commitment to mentoring, cultural revitalization, and supporting our Native youth, parents, and guardians.”

Through this work, Delmarina will help connect Native youth and families in Bismarck and surrounding communities with cultural programming, mentorship, resources, and opportunities that strengthen identity, family, and community. 🤝🏽🪶
