Job Role and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
• Represent the organization at court hearings as needed.
• Represent the organization at meetings/legislature as needed.
• Represent the organization at civic groups to expand awareness of the Mission.
• Oversee liquidation of clients’ assets, such as real estate, vehicles, etc. in conjunction with the Finance Director.
• Supervisory functions: Employee evaluations, wages, etc.
• Write Grant Applications in conjunction with Program Director.
• Meet with Auditors and CPAs for year-end entries and tax filings for GaPS.
• Meet with Insurance agency regarding annual coverage changes & applications.
• Oversee management of GaPS’ Finances.
• Oversee coordination of all human resource functions of GaPS.
• Attend bi-monthly Board Meetings with Program Director.
• Assist with case management of clients in conjunction with the Program Director as needed.
• Lead the annual fundraising event, and smaller fundraisers as directed by the Board.
• Lead Marketing efforts to include email and social media.
• Be an active part of the Guardianship Association of North Dakota.
• Assist in various other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements or Certifications:
• Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and QuickBooks.
• Four (4) year bachelor degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent degree in related field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of community resources and excellent communication skills.
• National Guardian Certification after 1 year of employment.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to operate and maintain basic office equipment.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to travel state wide to attend meetings and court hearings.
