We are excited to share that Missouri Slope at Home along with our RAAN (Rural Aging Action Network) were recently featured as a replicable community-based care model for aging in place by AARP in their Policy and Research Spotlight. Highlighting the creation, journey, and challenges of Missouri Slope at Home, AARP provides a detailed insight into the operations and maintenance of the program. The spotlight shows how Missouri Slope at Home is an essential backbone to North Dakota’s community-based care for older adults in underserved rural communities.

This last Wednesday, at the Butler Bistro, Missouri Slope was pumped up with the spirit of football season. Our residents came together, donning their favorite team gear, to enjoy lively debates and camaraderie. The air was filled with the familiar aroma of tailgating BBQ, thanks to our delightful Bistro workers. The wings buffet, added in a delicious touch to the day’s events and remembrance of past seasons. Missouri Slope takes pride in creating moments that bring about community, joy, and creating new memories for all to enjoy.
