NDLTCA was proud to see North Dakota represented at the AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo in Boston, where leaders discussed workforce challenges and opportunities in long term care.
As highlighted in Dana Ritchie’s post, the panel discussion featuring Blake Kragnes, Sherry Neal, and Kara Murphy emphasized that successful workforce development goes beyond recruitment. Retention, team integration, and ongoing support are essential to building a strong, sustainable workforce.
These conversations connect directly to the work happening across North Dakota, from rural health care workforce challenges to initiatives like People Worth Caring About, which highlights the people, stories, and impact of long term care in our state.
Thank you to everyone working to strengthen workforce pathways, support caregivers, and ensure North Dakota communities continue to receive quality long term care!
