After a devastating apartment fire, Tawnya and the children in her care are working to rebuild and start over — and tonight, our community can help make a difference.

Seven years ago, our lives changed forever when we welcomed our daughter into our hearts and home through adoption. From the very beginning, she brought with her a light so bright it illuminated every corner of our world. What began as an act of love has become one of the greatest blessings in our lives.

Adoption is not just about finding a child a home. It’s about finding the missing piece of your soul. She has taught us more about joy, resilience, and unconditional love than we ever thought possible. Watching her grow, laugh, and dream has been the most beautiful journey. She was never in our lives by chance; she was meant to be here. She was chosen for us, and she is cherished and deeply loved every single day. The past seven years, we have met milestones, created memories, and watched magic happen.

At Haven Hills, we believe every young person deserves to be heard, valued, and empowered to share their story. In fact, the very vision and programs of Haven Hills were shaped through conversations with youth in foster care. Their honesty, insight, and hope continue to guide what we do every day💙

A huge thank you to all the foster families who joined us for our special morning at Hoof It Forward! Watching kids connect with the animals 🐴🐇🐐🐖 and families connect with one another, was truly beautiful 💙

We’re so grateful to Hoof it Forward for opening their space and hearts - you’ve helped create moments of joy, healing, and connection for children in foster care.
