Delmarva Aces The Delmarva Aces is the newest baseball and softball organization on Delmarva! The Aces feature instructors with collegiate, professional and MiLB experience.

It is a Travel Ball organization that services kids from 8-18 years old.

We are so pumped to announce the completion of Phase 2 at the Aces Bishopville Facility in Bishopville, MD. This process has been going on since we completed the first build in December 2023.

It started in January 2024, almost three years ago, but it is now a reality.

The shell for the building with all items was completed weeks back, but today we are officially complete with Phase 2 and the inside.

What’s new with Phase 2?

⚾️ 4,000 sq foot turfed out hitting only area with five cages with a breakdown of (4) 12x33 cages and (1) 18x65 cage in building 2

⚾️ (2) Info TVs with all player metrics via Trackman, VALD lasers and strength/jump evaluations. Includes all leaderboards and player tracking data

⚾️ 5,000 sq foot multi-purpose area with rubber flooring and rubber matting on walls in building 3.

⚾️ Full HVAC system and two bathrooms with plenty of seating

⚾️ Nearly 2,000 sq foot outdoor battings cage pavilion with timer lights. There are (4) 12x35 cages under the roof.

⚾️ Building 1 now is completely wide open turf that totals over 7,100 sq feet of open turf

2027 Aiden Collie has committed to play at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. The St. Marks HS product has been a mainstay in the Aces program since 13U, where he’s played all over the place and hit consistently. AC is an awesome teammate and an incredible kid to coach.

He heads to play in the ODAC to join the Quakers in the D3 powerhouse league. AC runs a consistent 6.6 and is all over the middle of the field defensively. He’s overcome a couple injures over the years but is primed to do damage in Greensboro the next couple years.

He is the second Aces guy to play at Guilford and follows in footsteps of Max Lattomus, who was a 2018 grad of the program and pitched for years for the maroon and black.

In July, you may remember us going on social media and declaring we were ready to revolutionize baseball training on the Delmarva Peninsula. Apart of that segment, a big push was on providing real and true data showing players numbers and where they stand amongst the national and local averages. In the process, players could build accountability, commitment and perseverance in a competitive atmosphere with their teammates and friends. Aces players can now compare them to the same metric points of players in college and professional baseball. There is identification now in the process. When we said that in July - we meant it - and now we are here to prove it.

The DCP program saw 129 players attend the seventh-annual DCP Battlegrounds at the Aces Bishopville Facility on Sat/Sun, October 11-12. Players ran through a myriad of testing points that ranged between hitting, pitching, speed and explosion movements. Nearly 1,800 pitches were tracked this past weekend by 66 pitchers and close to 1,300 hitting swings had data points pulled. The players also ran, worked out and took live at-bats in front of a handful of college coaches.

These same tests will be available to all 11U+ players in the Delmarva Aces organization at both locations and is included in their cost of the program. All players will participate in this initial evaluation but players must attend 75% of all academies in order to take the mid-term and end-of-winter growth testings. There are no make up dates for initial, midterm or final testings.

All players in attendance were tested in the following categories:

• Pitching
• MPH, RPM, IVB, HB (all pitches)

• Explosion Movements
• Pushups in 30 seconds
• Broad jump
• Vertical jump
• 5-10-5 shuttle
• 30-yard & 10-yard runs

• Defensive
• Infield MPH
• OF MPH
• Catcher MPH

• Hitting
• Exit MPH
• Max Distance

Our leaderboards have also begun as all players received overall scores and rankings on their initial testing. Multiple TVs will provide all of this information at both the Middletown and Bishopville locations.

Thanks everyone for an awesome DCP Battlegrounds event at our Aces Bishopville Facility. A total of 124 student-athletes made their way to workout for the DCP x PBR weekend. A huge data/metrics event with live action and metrics gathered for hitting and pitching, as well as readings for infield, outfield, running and strength/speed.

Dudes got readings on three different Trackman units in their slots. The VALD lasers were on full display and all players got to participate in the initial evals. Also, thank you to the five different schools in attendance - Delaware, UMBC, Salisbury, Chesapeake and MD-Eastern Shore.

Next time you’re in the facility check the TVs for the nearly 1,000 tests our players ran through this weekend. Leaderboards and all on full display.
