CLASS IS FULL!

Wow… we can’t thank you all enough.

We hadn’t even made a public post about the 706 F.O.O.L.S. “Saving Our Own” class, and our members filled every single spot. That speaks volumes about the dedication to training and the commitment to making sure we’re prepared to take care of our own when it matters most.

To everyone who signed up—thank you for believing in what we’re building. We can’t wait to spend two days training alongside you.

If a spot becomes available due to a cancellation, we’ll post it immediately so someone else has the opportunity to attend.

Again, thank you to every member for the incredible support. Filling up a class before it was even advertised is something we’re truly grateful for.

We’ll see you in November. Stay safe, and keep training. 🚒👊

A note from the Thaxton Team:
The Thaxton Team was formed in 2021 when JW and Paul joined forces with Eddy after years of experience in the real estate industry. Real estate has always been part of our family — following in our father’s footsteps while building our own path in the business.
Service has also been a family tradition. Our grandfather was a founding member of Oconee County Fire Department, laying the foundation of a legacy of helping others. Eddy has continued that tradition with over 50 years of dedicated service to the fire department. JW and Paul have carried that same passion into their own careers, serving as career firefighters in the metro area, with Paul continuing to serve today.

“With the new year right around the corner, we are excited to see where it takes us! Be on the lookout for our first big social and our first training events coming soon!"

INCOMING 2026 to all our Fools brothers and sisters and firefighters everywhere 🚒

We want to take a second this morning to put out a challenge.

In the fire service, stagnation is the enemy. As we head into the next year, let’s set the bar higher than ever. Let’s push ourselves and each other to step outside the same four walls we’ve grown comfortable in. Force that door open. Get to a conference. Get to a training. Get uncomfortable.

Set goals for yourself. Hold each other accountable. Complacency is contagious but so is motivation.

Getting to a training or conference can reignite that spark. It brings the passion back. It sharpens the mindset. It restores the intensity that made you fall in love with this job in the first place. When you love the job, everything else follows skills improve, bonds grow stronger, and the brotherhood gets tighter.

So let’s be the ones who lead by example. Let’s be motivators for the craft. Let’s spread our passion, raise the standard, and make 2026 a year that truly makes a difference.

Stay hungry. Stay training.
