The Calico Quilters of Bishop had a trunk show today. Each member that wanted to display quilts could bring 5 to show. The quilts could be ones they made or ones from family or picked up in travels. Most were ones they made.

I’m in awe of the talent we have in our small group. Here are some pictures.

If anyone took additional pictures you can send them to me and I can post them.

Wonderful job by Marylyn who coordinated this show.

Fun time at our last workshop doing slow stitching. Hand stitching designs and buttons and trinkets. Thanks to Maureen our instructor and to Norma who brought lots of interesting trinkets and buttons. Everyone’s project was unique, most will take time to finish. Can’t wait to see the final products.

The tri- county fair quilt section was full of Calico Quilter quilts. There were also some winning non- member quilts and some very well done Junior and 4H quilts. Here is a photo dump.

Thank you to all the members who entered quilts and entered in Clothing and Textiles.

A huge thank you to those who helped check in the quilts, organize and get the quilts displayed, sold opportunity quilt tickets, and those who helped with taking down the displays and checking out the quilts. Your help makes this all happen.

This past Friday at the Big Pine Town Hall we sewed and hand stitched potholders to be sold at the Cast Off in Mammoth for the Hospital Auxiliary. We had a mini assembly line going and made a bunch of them. Always fun sewing with friends.
