Know what’s a lot of fun? Tying flies. A handful of learners had a great time a couple days ago improving their skills. Thanks to Tim Carpenter, Mark McKenzie, and Jarett C***s for helping in the Crowley Fish Foundation clinic. There are three more scheduled: July 29, and August 5 & 19. Everyone is welcome. It’s free! This Wednesday, July 15 @ 5pm @ Bishop Country Club is the next fly tying clinic, hosted by Crowley Fish Foundation. It is open to the public. Everyone - and all skill levels - are invited and encouraged to attend. We hope to see you there!

Thank you to Doug Rodricks of Sierra Drifters for speaking about Chris Basso at the Crowley Fish Foundation stocking this morning, done in memory and honor of Chris. A lot of healthy fish went into the lake today, and they are yours to catch. If you catch a tagged fish that reads “Chris Basso” you won a guided trip with the Sierra Drifters. As always, we are so grateful to everyone who has donated to the Foundation. Our next stocking will be in September 2026, and we humbly ask for support to make it happen. 🐟🙏🤙🏻

Please join Crowley Fish Foundation tomorrow morning, Wednesday, July 15 @ 7AM for coffee and donuts to stock Crowley Lake in memory of Chris Basso. Chris’s loving sister Patti has donated ten gift cards for people who come to celebrate his life as we watch 1,650 pounds of quality trout enter the lake. Tomorrow’s fish stocking has a special human quality to it, and we want to include anyone who wants to be there. We will be by the marina at Hilton Bay…
